Charles Wilson Whitaker, age 95, of Cromona passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
He is survived by his wife: Bobbie Whitaker; 2 sons: William Michael Whitaker and Christopher Lee Whitaker both of Cromona; 3 grandsons: Paul Michael Whitaker of Cromona, James Nicholas Whitaker of Jackhorn and Logan Richardson of Jackhorn; 5 great-grandchildren as well as a special sister-in-law, Anna Sue Browning of Neon.
Funeral services for Charles Wilson Whitaker will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Fleming officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Entombment will be at the Green Aces Cemetery at Ermine.

He is survived by his wife: Donna Webb Slone; 1 son: Jarrod Slone of Versailles; 1 daughter: Christi Wright of Indianapolis, Indiana; 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Carson Slone will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church with Bill Jones officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Saturday, at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Day will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Saturday June 8, 2024 at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel with Lester Boggs officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elbert Day Cemetery at Cowan.

She is survived by her mother: Louise Collier Riddle; her companion: James Johnson; 3 sons: Steven Tackett of Robinson Creek, Jordan Tackett of Harlan and Connor Tackett of McRoberts; 1 daughter: Tiffany Yates of Georgetown; 1 brother: Patrick White of Raccoon; 3 sisters: Agatha Slone of Martin, Veneta Riddle of Virgie and Tena Johnson of Virgie, special sister; Loretta DeJesus of Clarksville, TN and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Angela Ann Tackett will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home at Virgie.
Burial will follow in the Phillips Branch Cemetery at Beefhide.
Visitation will begin on Sunday after 6:00pm at the Funeral Home with Monday evening services beginning at 7:00PM.
