Betty Jo Pike, age 89, of Goose Creek, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home.
She is survived by 1 son: Jeffrey Pike of Mayking; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 11:30am Tuesday, October 22, at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Betty Jo Pike will follow at 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church with Bill Craft officiating.
Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery at Goose Creek.

Paul Mullins
Paul Mullins, age 85, of McRoberts passed away Friday October 18, 2024 at his residence.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law: Robin Mullins of Neon; two brothers: Lonnie Mullins of TN and Carl Fleming of VA; three sisters: Martha Little of McRoberts, Peggy Johnson of Long Fork and Rose Carr of FL; two grandchildren: Coty Mullins of Paris and Katelyn Smith of Whitesburg and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin after 6:00pm this evening, Sunday, and after 6:00pm Monday at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with nightly services beginning at 7:00pm.
Funeral services for Paul Mullins will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday October 22, 2024, at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Gabe Burns and Travis Hall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Whitesburg.

She is survived by her mother: Gertrude Hall Barnett of Ermine; her husband: Jimmy Whitaker; 1 daughter: Jamie Back of Blackey; 1 brother: Alex Barnett of Ermine; 1 sister: Carol Sexton of Ermine; 2 grandchildren: Josh Long and Will Long.
No Services will be held for Sherry Ann Whitaker.

Christopher Shaun Tackett, age 55, of Dorton, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He is survived by his father: Phillip Ray Tackett of Dorton; his wife: Trena Johnson Tackett; four sons, Wesley Bryant of Shelby Gap, Christopher “Nevin” Tackett of Pikeville, Jonathon “Wyatt” Tackett of Dorton, Jessie Lee Tackett of Dorton; one daughter: Raina Faith Mullins of Dorton; three brothers: Jeff Tackett of Bedford, Johnny Tackett of Dorton and Todd Tackett of Dorton; one sister, Tabitha Newsome of Dorton; five grandchildren and two special granddaughters.
Funeral services for Christopher Shaun Tackett will be held at 11:00am Monday at the Pilgrim Prayer Old Regular Baptist Church at Dorton with Daryl Newsom and others officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tackett Family Cemetery at Cabin Fork.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Sunday, at the Pilgrim Prayer Old Regular Baptist Church at Dorton with services starting at 7:00PM.

He is survived by his great niece: Juanita Stidham of Vicco; nieces, Brenda Adams of Hazard, Sharon Eldridge of Viper, Tammy Oliver of London, Tammy Elliott of Scuddy, Carol Smith of Scuddy, Darlene Jent of Frankfort, Debbie Manis of Isom and Pamela Huff of Hazard; nephews, Ray Bowling of Vicco, Ricky Wooton of Scuddy, Bugsy Wooton of Scuddy, Elvis Jent of Fork Branch, Brandon Williams of Vicco, Clarence Combs of Vicco and Jamie Bowling of Isom; one brother, Jimmy Jent of Fork Branch and special friend, Juanita Pridemore.
Funeral Services for Freddie Jent will be held at 2:00pm this afternoon, Sunday October 20, 2024 at the Kodak Church of the True and Living God with Randy Gwin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jent Cemetery at Vicco, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made towards the funeral expenses.
