Letcher County District Judge Kevin R. Mullins, age 54, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024.
He is survived by his mother: Patsy Holbrook Mullins of Norton, VA; his wife: Kimberly; two daughters; Mya and Ava, one sister: Kimberley Bledsoe; two nephews: Channing West and Evan West.
Funeral services for Kevin R. Mullins will be held this afternoon, Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Jenkins High School Gymnasium.
Visitation will be at the Jenkins High School Gymnasium from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM this afternoon.
The Hall & Jones Funeral Home Jenkins Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Benny Wayne (Ben) Bentley, age 58, of Pistol City, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife: Rebecca Bentley; 2 sons: Melvin and Joshua; 6 daughters: Jessica, Barbara, Kayla, Brandy, Katrina and Brittany; 2 brothers: George and Danny; 3 sisters: Linda, Roxie and Jackie; special friends: Daniel Cornett, Ellen Sexton, Coy McClain, Roger Bentley and Beth Bentley; 22 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will he from 6:00-9:00pm Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services for Benny Wayne (Ben) Bentley will be held at 7:00pm
Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Lowe officiating.

Terry Mitchell “Flujie” Caudill, age 63, of Jeremiah, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife: Etna Eldridge Caudill; 2 sons: Robert Back and Westley Caudill all of Jeremiah; 2 brothers: Todd Caudill of Emmalena and Jeff Caudill of Jeremiah; 4 sisters: Connie Adams of Jeremiah, Carrie Lynn Caudill of Jeremiah, Legina Adams of Isom and Thelmarie Adams of Jeremiah; 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Terry Mitchell “Flujie” Caudill will be held at 11:00am Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Blackey Pentecostal Church with Bruce Eldridge officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Sunday, at the Blackey Pentecostal Church.
Burial will follow in the Caudill Family Cemetery at Jeremiah.

Ida F. Cornett, age 98, of Viper, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Hazard ARH.
She is survived by two daughters: Brenda Fields of Bean Station, TN & Carolyn Roper of Viper; One Son: David Cornett of Williamstown, KY; One Sister: Hattie Hamilton of Viper; One Brother: Herb Adams of Boston, KY; 11 Grandchildren along with a Host of Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will he from 11:00am-1:00pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel in Hazard.
Funeral services for Ida F. Cornett will follow at 1:00pm Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel in Hazard with Karl Baker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Robert S. Cornett Cemetery at Sassafras.
