Nova Nell Lemaster Whitaker, age 83, of Jenkins, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026.
She is survived by two daughters: Nova Eyvonna Greene of Pound, VA; and Beth Brown of Mt. Carmel, TN; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild along with two special family members, Fran Loudin and Randy Hampton, both of Ohio.
Funeral services for Nova Nell Lemaster Whitaker will be held at 12 noon today Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Burdine Church of God of Prophecy, Burdine, with Pastor Frank Hall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery at Jenkins.
Baker Funeral Home of Pound, VA is in charge of the arrangements.

Deborah Kay Brewer, age 70, of Viper, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Hazard ARH.
She is survived by her Husband: H. B. Brewer; One Daughter: Tia Brewer; One Son: Benji Brewer; One Brother: Roger Cecil; Four Grandchildren and Special Friends: Mindy Brewer & Anita Napier.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00 today, Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel in Hazard.
Funeral services for Deborah Kay Brewer will follow at 1:00pm this afternoon, Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel with Steve Haddix officiating.
Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Hazard.
