Carolyn Anita Polly, age 60, of Mayking, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at her residence.
She is survived by 2 sons: Bowpranioal “Bow” Polly of Pound, Virginia and Thecralion “James” Polly of Millstone; 1 daughter: Anulina “Anna” Polly of Pound, Virginia; 4 brothers: Michael Polly, Tony Polly and Emory Polly all of Mayking and Thurston Eugene Polly of Georgia; 2 sisters: Shirley Branham of Pound, Virginia and Virginia Polly of Mayking; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services for Carolyn Anita Polly will be held at 7:00pm Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Ison officiating.

Loretta Hawkins, age 86, of Neon, passed away
Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Letcher Manor Nursing Home.
She is survived by her husband: Charles Hawkins; three sons: Jeff Hawkins of Neon, Gregg Hawkins of Mayking and Richard Hawkins of Neon; one brother: Harold Cantrell of Liberty; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 11:00am this morning, Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.
Funeral services for Loretta Hawkins will follow at 1:00pm this afternoon, Thursday, at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Rob Ratliff Cemetery in Elkhorn.

She is survived by her Mother: Trish Clark of Sassafras; Father: Tim Hurd of Vicco; Bonus Mom: Stephanie Miller of Hazard; Bonus Dad’s: Jeff Coots of Yeaddiss and Ben Spencer of Hazard; Sisters: Zoey Coots, Jewlee Coots, Jushanna Hurd, and Haley Fugate; Brother, Hunter Hurd; Grandparents: Lisa Childers & Steve of Slemp; Richard Clark & Deborah London, and Paul & Barb Hurd of Vicco and Special Best Friends: Kynzi Spencer and Kaide Cornett.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00pm on Friday – March 6, 2026 at the John C. Combs Gymnasium at Perry County Central High School in Hazard.
Funeral Services for Emilynn Alexis Nicole Clark will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday – March 7, 2026 at the John C. Combs Gymnasium with Virgil Hurt officiating.
Burial will follow in the Adams- Lewis Cemetery at Viper.
