Everette Meade

Everette Meade, age 88, of Deane, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Pikeville Medical Center. 

He is survived by 2 sons: Eddie Wayne Meade and Kenneth Wayne Meade both of Deane; 2 daughters: Donna Jean Bolling of Deane and Jennifer Lynn Johnson of Spieght, Kentucky; 4 brothers: Coy Meade, Claude Meade, Denver Meade, and Gary Meade; 1 sister: Janet Baker; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Everette Meade will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Alfred Fields officiating. 

Visitation will be all day today, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. 

Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

The Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements. 

Judith “Judy” Elaine Burton Hill

Judith “Judy” Elaine Burton Hill, age , of Partridge, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. 

She is survived by two sons: Jamey Hill and of Corbin, KY, and Jason Hill of Partridge; one granddaughter and a great-grands; her sister: Darlene Burton Warf and two brothers: Leon Burton and Ed Burton.

A Celebration of Life service for Judith “Judy” Elaine Burton Hill will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 1:00PM at the Burton Family Cemetery, Lewis Creek, at Partridge. 

The Tri City Funeral Home of Benham is in charge of the arrangements.  

Louis Boggs Jr.

Louis Boggs Jr., age 81, of Partridge, departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his residence.

He is survived by his wife: Patsy Carol Boggs, granddaughter: April Amy Boggs, daughter-n-law: Loretta Boggs, five siblings: Bobby Boggs, Brent Boggs, Jimmy Hall, Bobbie Reynolds and Earlene Johnson; special nieces: Patty Jane Howard and Heather Dixon, special nephews: Randy Caudill and Jonathan Hall.

Visitation will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Lewis Creek Pentecostal Church. 

Funeral services for Louis Boggs Jr. will follow at 2:00pm on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Lewis Creek Pentecostal Church with Ronnie Oplinger and Bobby Boggs officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.  

The Hampton Funeral Home of Barbourville is in charge of the arrangements.
