Edison G. Banks, II, age 64, of Little Cowan, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024.

He is survived by daughters: Christie Nicole Davis of Hazard and Haley Blair Sizemore of Cornettsville; his Mother: Sue Banks of Whitesburg; Sisters: Mary Lynne Richardson of Whitesburg and Amanda Banks Galer of Coos Bay, Oregon; 2 Grandchildren: Hallie Drew Davis and Harper Rose Sizemore. As well as his nieces, Ashley Renee Holland and Caidance King; nephew, Kyle Galer; and great nieces, Sophie Grace and Makayla Holland.

Funeral services for Edison G. Banks II will be held at 1:00pm Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church with Bill Craft, Johnny Banks and Tony Brown officiating.

Visitation will be after 6:00pm Thursday at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the John R. Banks Cemetery at Little Cowan.

Terry Carl Combs, age 58, of Linefork, passed away on Monday, December 2nd, 2024.

He is survived by his mother: Lonnie Mae Combs of Hallie; his wife: Terrie Combs of Linefork;
1 daughter: Brittany Combs of Kingscreek; 1 son: Craig Combs of Gordon; 6 grandchildren; 1 stepdaughter: Casey Warf of Mayking.; 1 stepson: Lance Stamper of Pikeville; 1 brother: Barry Combs of Hallie and 1 sister: Pamela Roark of Kingscreek.

Funeral services for Terry Carl Combs will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Dotson and Roger Dale Fields officiating.

Visitation will be after 6:00pm Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Combs Cemetery at Linefork.

He is survived by his wife: Norma Gaye Phillips of Whitaker; 3 sons: Greg Phillips of Whitaker, Brian Pike-Phillips of Whitaker and Kody Damron of Port Royal, South Carolina; 1 goddaughter: Kaylin Noble of Deane; 1 sister: Anna Beitel of Illinois and 1 brother: Carlos Phillips of Fleming.

She is survived by 2 sons: CJ Hall and Shane Hall; 1 daughter Dee Morgan all of Ermine; 1 brother: Scott Adams of Dryfork. 5 Grandchildren. Taylor, Tanner, Tori, Dylan, and Bailey.

She is survived by her husband: Allen Ross; 1 daughter: Mandy Kiser of Whitesburg; 1 brother: Randall Wilson of Richmond; 6 sisters: Eula Trout of Illinois, Linda Williams of Tennessee, Deloris Russell of Tennessee, Denva Simms of North Carolina, Joyce Rowe of Tennessee and Mable Young of Millstone and 2 grandchildren: Nathan Kiser and Isaiah Kiser.

He is survived by his parents: Danny Terry Bentley and Dianne Bevins Meade; his step mother: Anna Bentley; his step father: Shawn Meade; his fiancée, Brittany Furr; one daughter: Remmi Carver; one daughter on the way: Eden Dylaney Reign Bentley; 1 son: Caestyn Carver; 4 brothers: Ryan Bentley, Bryson Cook, Jake Meade and Tyler Freeman; one sister, Katie Profitt; a nephew: Jett Bentley and a niece: Everly Bentley.
