Lana Margaret Fisher, age 76, of Whitesburg, passed away on Sunday December 28, 2025 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband: Bobby Fisher of Whitesburg; 1 son: David D. Fisher of Cowan; 5 sisters: Joyce L. Adams of Mayking, Carolyn Short of Mayking, Shelia Kincer of Carlisle, KY, Ladonna Kincer of North Carolina and Kim Miles of Mayking; 2 brothers: Randall Kincer of Neon and Stephen Kincer of Mayking along with 2 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00pm this evening, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Lana Margaret Fisher will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 31, 2025 with Jensen Riddle and Ken Miles officiating.
Burial will follow in the Douglas Day Cemetery in Whitesburg.

Brenda Sue Leek Hensley
Brenda Sue Leek Hensley, age 71, of Cumberland passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Hazard ARH.
She is survived by her husband: Leroy Hensley of Cumberland; one daughter: Lori Mears of Louisiana; three grandchildren, Samantha Golden, Christopher Golden and Frankie Golden; and nine great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time for Brenda Sue Leek Hensley.

Melinda Newman, age 59, of Eolia, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
She is survived by her husband: Anthony Newman; 3 children: William Newman, Zackary Newman and Angel Newman all of Eolia; 1 brother: David Logan of Colson; 5 sisters: Emma Stephenson and Louise Dennison both of Cincinnati, Deloris Amburgey, Evelyn Collins and Vonda Lowe all of Colson and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation for Melinda Newman will be from 1:00-10:00pm this afternoon, Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Lon Caudill, age 89, of Hazard, formerly of Letcher County, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the Hazard ARH.
He is survived by: Two Sisters: Della Sparkman & Alice Fizer; Two Brothers: Jack Caudill & Bobby Ray Caudill and Two Sisters-In-Law: Phyllis Caudill & Valerie Caudill.
Visitation will be from from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM, Friday, January 2, 2026 at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel in Hazard.
Funeral services for Lon Caudill will follow at 1:00pm Friday, January 2, 2026, at Maggard’s Mountain View Chapel in Hazard with Kenny Salmons & Jared Salmons officiating.
Burial will follow in the McIntyre Family Cemetery at Viper.
