Deborah Lynn Hall

Deborah Lynn Hall, 65 of Blackey, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the UK Hospital in Lexington.

She is survived by her husband: Donnie Hall; 2 sons: Michael Smith of Morehead and Keith Smith of Letcher; 2 stepsons: Donnie Grayson Hall and Matthew Scott Hall both of Middlesboro; 3 brothers: Ronald Packard of Mentor, Ohio, Bruce Packard of Huntington, West Virginia and Brian Packard of Radcliff; 1 sister: Ellen Combs of Carcassonne; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services for Deborah Lynn Hall will be held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the Little Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Earl Combs, David Jent and Allen Fugate officiating.

Visitation will be after 6:00pm Wednesday at the Little Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the Jent Cemetery at Carcassonne.

Kester “Rusty” Halcomb Jr.

Kester “Rusty” Halcomb, Jr., age 73, of Partridge passed away on Saturday February 22, 2025 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife: Thelma Halcomb; his uncle Carter Hall and wife Quinna and his special sister-in-law Brenda Collier.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00pm Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church at Delphia with singing and a message from Pastor Eddie Williams.

Funeral Services for Kester “Rusty” Halcomb Jr. will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Big Leatherwood First Baptist Church with Eddie Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery at Delphia.

Ricky R. Hammonds, age 75, of Thornton, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Saturday at the Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg.

A Celebration of Life service for Ricky R. Hammonds will follow at 1:00pm on Saturday March 1, 2025 at the Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg.

Virgil Danny Allen II, Age 58, of Newport, TN, formerly of Cromona and McRoberts, passed away on Friday February 21, 2025 at the North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Sapp–Allen of Newport, Tennessee and McRoberts, Kentucky; 3 daughters: Kayla Osborne of Johnson City, Tennessee, Emily Alicia Marie Allen of Kingsport, Tennessee and McKinley Paige Potter of Louisville; his mother, Gennieve Allen of Cromona; two sisters: Rebecca Mullins of Cromona and Renee Allen of Cromona along with a nephew: Johnathan Mullins of Cromona.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00pm this evening, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg.

Funeral services for Virgil Danny Allen II will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 26th, followed by Masonic Rites at 3:00pm, at the Allen Cemetery in Salyersville.

Dwight David Kincer, age 72, of Mayking, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Melissa Kincer of Mayking and Lana Kincer of Mayking; girlfriend: Catherine Pugh of Millstone; mother of his children: Creta Kincer of Mayking; 2 brothers: Steve Kincer of Mayking and Randall Kincer of Neon; 6 sisters: Joy Adams of Mayking, Carolyn Short of Mayking, Margaret Fischer of Whitesburg, Kim Miles of Mayking, Shelia Kincer of Carlisle and Ladonna Kincer of Lewisburg, North Carolina; 4 grandchildren: Landon Kincer, Chase Kincer, Mariah Sturgill and Taylor Fields; 1 great grandchild: Paisley Sturgill.

Funeral services for Dwight David Kincer will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Mullins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Craft Cemetery at Mayking.

Pamela Eileen Holden, age 64 of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee.

She is survived by three sons, Johnny Paul, II Lewis of Harlan, Jerry Lewis, Jeff Lewis all of Cumberland, 4 stepsons: Thomas Holden of Evarts, Devin Simmons of Cumberland, Robert Lewis and Gary Shepherd both of Harlan along with twenty-two grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service for Pamela Eileen Holden will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home in Cumberland.

Jerry Keith McPeek Sr., age 86, of Dorton, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at Pikeville Medical Center.

He is survived by two sons: Jerry Keith Mcpeek Jr, of Dorton, Eric S. McPeek of Dorton; three brothers: Stewart McPeek of Pikeville, Jimmy McPeek of Detroit, MI and Robert McPeek of Detroit, MI; one sister: Fannie Stewart of Lick Fork; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jerry Keith McPeek, Sr., will be held at 11:00am this morning, Tuesday, February 24, 2025 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home at Virgie with Teddy Honaker and others officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wright Brothers Cemetery at Dorton.
