Nerva Woods, age 83, of Viper, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the Hazard ARH Medical Center.
She is survived by Two Daughters: Shawna Sorenson of Iowa & Carolyn Jones of Viper; Two Sons: Hank Woods Sr. of Viper & Worley Woods Jr. of Viper; Two Sisters: Kathleen Moore of Glomawr & Irene Carter of Jeff; One Brother: Ferlin Joseph of Viper; Thirteen Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm on Thursday January 30, 2025 at the the Middle Fork Church of Christ.
Funeral services for Nerva Woods will follow at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Middle Fork Church of Christ with Mike Hall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ben Cornett Cemetery at Viper.
The Maggard Funeral Home of Hazard is in charge of the arrangements.

Teddy Overstreet
Teddy Overstreet, age 71, of Jenkins, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He is survived by his wife: Nesheda Bentley Overstreet; one daughter: CourtneyGarcia of Murfreesboro, TN; one brother: Eddie Overstreet of Pikeville; his brother-in-law: Larry Robinson and sister-in-law: Fonda Overstreet.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with services beginning at 7:00pm.
Funeral services for Teddy Overstreet will be at held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Frank Holbrook officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Whitesburg.

Deborah Gail Rucker
Deborah Gail Rucker, age 69, of Cromona, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Hazard ARH.
She is survived by two sons: Robert Smallwood of Caryville, TN and Jacky Smallwood of Jenkins; four daughters: Kristy Digrazia of Cromona, Misty Smallwood of Jenkins, Jessica Antonio of Jenkins and Caitlin Caudill of Cromona; one sister: Melanie Mullins of Somerset; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025 and from 5:00-7:00pm Friday, January 31, 2025 at the New Beginnings Church in Jenkins.
Funeral services for Deborah Gail Rucker, will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at New Beginnings Church in Jenkins with Pastor Les Sizemore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Seco Cemetery at Seco.
