He is survived by his wife: Patricia Trent; Two Sons: James Trent and Mark Trent; One Daughter: Tracy Amburgey; Two Brothers: Roger Trent and Marcus Trent; Three Sisters: Lois Shepherd, Teresa Sprague and Renay Baker and 5 Grandchildren.

David Allen Freeman Jr., age 38, of Neon, passed away on Friday July 18, 2025, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife: Crissy Freeman; his mother: Sandra Collier; his father: David Freeman Sr.; one daughter: Kasey Slone; one sister: Susan Harrison; grandmother: Sandra Tackett; niece: Tessa Breeding and nephew: Brayden Harrison.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Thursday July 24, 2025, and continue all day Friday July 25, 2025, at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church with a service Friday evening at 7:00pm.
Funeral Services for David Allen Freeman Jr. will be held at 1:00pm Saturday July 26, 2025, at at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church with Josh Harrison and Bo Hammonds officiating.
Burial will follow at the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
In Lieu of flowers family has requested donations can be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

Ronnie Lee Richie, age 70, of Jenkins passed away Saturday July 19, 2025 at his residence.
He is survived by two sons: Nicholas Richie of Jenkins and Nathan Richie of Jenkins; one daughter: Alexis Richie of Jenkins; two sisters: Ollie Williams of Eolia and Lisa McHargue of Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Patsy Lou Madden, age 88, of Litt Carr, passed away on Thursday July 17, 2025, at her residence.
She is survived by her Son: Paxton Madden; Two Daughters: Patia Smith and Heather Madden; One Sister: Ann Eversole and a Host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren & Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm Friday July 25, 2025, at the Jeff Missionary Baptist Church at Jeff.
Memorial Services for Patsy Lou Madden will be held at 1:00pm Saturday July 26, 2025, at the Jeff Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Haddix officiating.
Burial will follow in the Nickles Family Cemetery at Litt Carr.

He is survived by his parents: David and Mae Elkins Smallwood of Brushy Fork at Beefhide; two daughters: Makayley Smallwood of Dorton and Jaeden Smallwood of Elkhorn, one son: Trenton Smallwood of Dorton; two sisters: Karen White of Dorton and Kyra Johnson of Dorton and two grandchildren.
Funeral services for David Smallwood II will be held at 1:00pm Friday at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home at Virgie with Daryl Newsom, Kevin Bowling, and Garrett Mullins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Smallwood Cemetery at Brushy Fork at Beefhide.
Visitation will begin after 6:00pm this evening, Wednesday, and after 6:00pm Thursday at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home at Virgie with services nightly beginning at 7:00pm.
