Delorace “Lois” Sexton
Delorace “Lois” Sexton, age 80, of Clay City, formerly of Jackhorn, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
She is survived by her husband: Ireland “Pete” Sexton; six daughters: Vickie Brock, Samantha Parker, Tammy Coty, Wonda Everly, Candy Sexton and Rhoda Caudill; one sister: Zola Hall; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Delorace “Lois” Sexton will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday June 19, 2025 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Jessie Miller, Dolph Kelly and others officiating.
Burial will follow in the Meade Cemetery at Jackhorn.
Visitation will begin after 6:00 this evening, Wednesday, at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with services beginning at 7:00pm.
The Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Jacob Dylan Duncan
Jacob Dylan Duncan, age 22, of Cleveland, Tennessee, formerly of Letcher County, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Erlanger Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga.
He is survived by his parents: Vernon and Rebecca Duncan; maternal grandmother, Janice Gibson; maternal aunt Cheryl Gibson and maternal uncle Greg Gibson; paternal aunts Rozetta Adams and Novella Sexton; paternal uncle Donnie Duncan; and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be at 11:00am Saturday, June 21, 2025 with a Remembrance of Life Service to follow at 1:00pm Saturday at First Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN with Justin Worden officiating.
Another service for Jacob will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 with at the Letcher Funeral Home chapel in Whitesburg with Travis Hall officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm with the service to follow at 1:00pm Tuesday.
The family request in lieu of flowers, Memorials be made to Lana’s Love Foundation or to The Grayson Foundation.
