Franklin Bentley, age 59, of Millstone passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at the Hazard ARH. 

He is survived by 1 son: Jake Bentley of Neon; 1 daughter: Tonya Gail Bentley of Millstone; 1 brother: Cecil Rondal Maggard of Whitesburg; 2 sisters: Judy Craft of Whitesburg and Leisa Anderson of Alabama and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Franklin Bentley will be held at 12:00 noon today, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.

Wanda L. Crown, age 75, of Isom passed away Monday, June 3, 1948 at her residence. 

She is survived by 2 daughters: Toshia Fields of Linefork and Tammy Hall of Isom; 1 brother: Terry Taylor of Isom; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren along with best lifelong friend Judy Collins. 

Funeral services for Wanda Crown will be held at 1:00pm Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home chapel. 

Visitation will be after 6:00pm Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. 

Burial will follow in the Herb Maggard Cemetery.

Jackie Lee Sexton, age 77, of Colley passed away Saturday, June 2, 2024 at the Whitesburg ARH. 

He is survived by 3 brothers: Buddy D. Sexton, Albert R. Sexton and Marvin P. Sexton; sister-in-law: Zelma Sexton; 1 sister: Tishia Mae Collins; 1 brother-in-law Frank Collins, 12 nieces and 13 nephews. 

Funeral services for Jackie Lee Sexton will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. 

Visitation will be after 3:00pm, this afternoon, Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. 

Burial will follow in the Ed Sexton Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife: Joyce Ann Niece Morton; 1 son: Edward Morton of Thornton; 1 daughter: Wendy Warf of Thornton; 1 brother: Jimmy Morton of Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Roy Lee Mullins, age 71, of Blackey passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at his residence. 

He is survived by 5 brothers: Price Kenneth Mullins of Dry Fork; Charlie Mullins of Louisville; Rayen Joe Mullins of Winchester; Woodford Mullins of Manchester and William Ray Mullins of Dry Fork; 4 sisters: Thelma Ratliff of Lexington; LouAda Rogers of Blackey; Dorothy Collins of Sandlick and Geneva Williams of Hazard. 

Funeral services for Roy Lee Mullins will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon at the Mount Olivet Baptist Church at Blackey.

Brian K. Lewis, age 51, of Cumberland passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.

He is survived by his girlfriend: Lana Fritz of Virginia; 2 children: Dalton Lewis of Harlan and Evan Lewis of Georgetown; 1 brother: Leon Lewis of Cumberland; 2 sisters: Darlene Mandrell of Cumberland and Loretta Simpson of Cumberland; 3 special nieces, Candace and Erica Mandrell and Jessie Lewis.

There are no services scheduled at this time for Brian K. Lewis.

Bob Blevins, age 89, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at his residence. 

He is survived 2 sons; Shawn Blevins of Lexington and Shane Blevins of Booker Branch; 2 daughters: Misti Stewart of Shelby Gap and Tuana Bentley of Jenkins; 3 sisters: Fran Currier of NC, Cherrell Coutcher of MI and Donna Hollenger of NM; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services for Bob Blevins will be held Thursday at 11:00AM at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home at Virgie with Paul Tackett officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Abbegayle Raine Memorial Cemetery at Three Mile. 

Visitation will begin this evening, Wednesday, after 6:00pm with services beginning at 7:00pm at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home at Virgie.

She is survived by 1 son: James Adams of Neon; 2 daughters: Jackie Lynn Fugate of Mayking and Leslie Karen Adams of Richmond: 2 brothers: Bob Caudill of Indiana and Danny Caudill of Whitesburg; 1 sister: Cathy Parks of Lexington; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services for Betty Lou Newman will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Darrell McBee officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Whitesburg. 

Visitation will begin this evening, Wednesday at 6:00pm with services at 7:00pm at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.
