Doris Evelyn Sexton, age 81, of Sandlick, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
She is survived by her husband: Albert Roland Sexton; grandchild: Zachary Sexton; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Wanda Niece of Campbranch; brothers-in-law: Buddy Sexton, Marvin Sexton and Frank Collins; sisters-in-law: Tishia Collins, Karen Sexton, Zelma Sexton and Barbara Sexton and daughter-in-law: Cora Sexton.
Funeral services for Doris Evelyn Sexton will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ed Sexton Cemetery at Sandlick.
The Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg is in charge of the arrangements.

Bernice Meade, age 39, of Potters Fork, passed away on Saturday October 5, 2024 at her residence.
She is survived by her stepmother: Rose Holbrook of Potters Fork; her mother: Laura Hamlin of Georgia and 2 half brothers: Harold Dombrowski of Florida and Brandon Newsome of Georgia.
Funeral services for Bernice Meade will be held at 11:00am this morning, Wednesday, at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Meade Family Cemetery at Deane.

Eliza Jane Adams, age 81 of Redfox, Kentucky passed away on Sunday October 6, 2024, at her residence.
She is survived by 5 Sons: Michael Morton, David Morton, Christopher Webb, Earnest Ray Adams and Jamie Bowling; 3 Daughters: Barb Smith, Evelyn Hall and Melissa Lucas; 1 Brother: Eugene Mullins; 1 Sister: Susan Melton along with a host of Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00pm on Wednesday October 9, 2024, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman.
Funeral Services for Eliza Jane Adams will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday October 10, 2024, at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home with Caleb Combs officiating.
Burial will follow at the Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery at Redfox.

He is survived by 3 sons: Russell Whitaker Jr of Canada, Brian Whitaker of Payne Gap and John Whitaker of Payne Gap; 1 daughter: Laquita Quillen of Payne Gap; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
