Louisville Man Arrested In Stabbing at a Prestonsburg Gas Station

A man from Louisville has been charged with felony assault for a stabbing at a Prestonsburg gas station last week.

Prestonsburg Police were called to Skeens Marathon on U.S. 23 on Friday afternoon after a man was found stabbed in the neck.

The victim, whose name has not been released, had to be flown to a hospital.

Mountain Top News reports the suspect ran off but was identified as Wesley Gatlin.

A few hours later he was involved in a fight at the Alpike Motel and was arrested there.

Prestonsburg Police are reportedly still putting all the pieces together.
