You’ll be able to look inside the old Whitesburg High School gymnasium during Whitesburg’s Mountain Heritage Festival this month.
The Mountain Eagle reports Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation has a plan to turn the old gym into an education center and they plan to open it during the Festival to give tours including a display of trophies from the old high school.
Officials tell the paper MCHC has been talking with some universities about offering classes there but there is nothing set yet.
