More Federal Charges Could Be Filed Against Pike Circuit Judge

More charges could be filed against a Pike County Circuit judge facing federal charges
for mail fraud and theft of government funds.

Prosecutors allege that when Howard Keith Hall was the Pike County Attorney he paid an assistant about $440,000 but that person did not actually work.

Hall was indicted by a grand jury in April and is currently suspended from judicial duties.

In new court filings this week, prosecutors allege there is evidence Hall employed two other people who did little or no work for the Pike County Attorney’s Office including a family member.

New motions will be heard in October.
