Elkhorn City’s new mayor has been getting down to work. Nathan Bryant was appointed by the city council earlier this month to replace Mike Taylor who resigned amid findings of financial mismanagement and irregularities confirmed in a recent audit by the Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts. Bryant tells the Appalachian News Express since he was sworn in he and others have been getting proper training through the Kentucky League of Cities and the Auditor’s Office to get things in order and improve revenue.
