New Information on Former Union High VA Coaches Disappearance

New details have emerged in the disappearance of Union High School head football coach Travis Turner who was last seen at his home in Big Stone Gap on November 20.

About four days after his disappearance Virginia State Police announced they had 10 warrants for his arrest on allegations of possession of child pornography and using a computer to solicit a minor.

According to a statement from his family’s attorney, he was last seen early in the day walking to the woods with a firearm, before there were any known warrants, and when he did not return home that evening, his wife called police to report him missing.

The attorney says the family is cooperating in the search.
