Paintsville Woman Arrested After Writing Bad Checks at Pike County Business

A Paintsville woman is facing several charges for allegedly writing bad checks to a Pike County business.

Kentucky State Police say troopers were called to Rural King in Coal Run Village where it was reported that a woman had already passed some bad checks for more than $2000 and was back in the store.

Mountain Top News reports the woman allegedly gave police a couple of different names and social security numbers until they were finally able to track down her real identity.

KSP says Jessica Spradlin was wanted on eight warrants and faces charges including for theft, forgery and meth trafficking.
