We’re learning more about a big drug bust in Letcher County over the weekend. On Sunday Sheriff Mickey Stines reported two people were arrested after a Letcher County deputy found them with more than a pound of meth with a street value of nearly $50,000. The Sheriff tells WYMT Clayton Collins of Isom and Sasha Hoover of Whitesburg face multiple charges including possession and trafficking with Collins also facing charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and driving on a suspended license. Stines says over the last five years they have removed nine pounds of meth from the streets.
