A Perry County man is behind bars following a Saturday night domestic violence call that led to the suspect barricading himself in a home on Combs Road.
The Sheriff says deputies were called on a report of man firing shots in Airport Gardens.
Hazard Police responded along with Kentucky State Police as the man went into an apartment building and refused to surrender for several hours.
Ultimately the Sheriff says they were able to negotiate a peaceful surrender.
The man is charged with wanton endangerment, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and apparently had several outstanding warrants.
There were no reports of anyone being hurt.
