A Perry County teacher has made it to the finals for Kentucky Teacher of the Year.
Devina Baker oversees the biomedical program for Perry County Central High School.
Co-principal Dr. Michelle Ritchie-Curtis tells WYMT Baker is a phenomenal teacher who
pushes her students in a way they appreciate as they prepare for college and careers in
the health field.
A student nominated Baker for the Kentucky Teacher of the Year and she is now a top three finalist in the high school division.
The winners will be announced at a banquet in October.
