The boys 14th region semifinals took place Saturday afternoon at Powell County.
Breathitt County got by Hazard 47-44 in overtime and Perry County Central won over Knott County Central 59-54.
So defending champion Breathitt County will take on Perry County Central in the boys 14th region championship game tonight at 7:00pm at Powell County.
The boys 13th Region championship game will be tonight at 7:00pm as Harlan County takes on Corbin at the Corbin Arena.
Harlan County came from behind to beat Clay County 66-60 in the semifinals. Trent Noah finished with 43 points and 15 rebounds.
The 15th Region Championship game will also be tonight at 7:00pm as Magoffin County battles Martin County at 7:00pm at the Appalachian Wireless Arena.
The girls KHSAA Sweet 16 State Tournament will be this week, March 13-16 and the boys KHSAA Sweet 16 State Tournament will be next week, March 20-23 and both will be played at Rupp Arena.
