Pike County Drug Court Earns State Certification

The Pike County Drug Court has achieved certification from the Kentucky Specialty Courts for its use of best practices that lead to participant success.

Chief Regional Circuit Judge Eddy Coleman is a volunteer with the Drug Court.

He says the Court has been in operation for 20 years with a dedicated staff and the certification means that the
process is consistent with the best practices.

The certification is good for three years.

Mountain Top News reports the Perry County Drug Court also has the certification.
