A Pike County man is facing a second-degree manslaughter charge for a fatal shooting that happened over the weekend.
Clifford Triplett of Dix Fork was arrested for the incident that happened at his home Sunday morning, where investigators allege, he got into a fight with James Mounts.
Mountain Top News reports Triplett told investigators that his gun went off accidentally during a struggle, and Mounts was shot and killed.
Triplett was being held without bond in the Pike County Detention Center.
