Pike County Recovery Resource Center Coming Soon

The Pike County Health Department is creating a new center for those struggling with
substance use disorders.

Pike County Health Director Tammy Riley tells the Appalachian News-Express the Pike County Recovery Resource Center will be located in a renovated section of the health department building and should be ready to start seeing people in a few months.

However, Riley says they are already ready to help people with their Harm Reduction Program even before that part of the building is done.

She says you need only to come into the Health Department and ask.

Some of the funding is coming from the Pike County Fiscal Court Opioid Abatement Settlement
