The Pike County School District has gotten more than $7500 worth of school supplies to help support families thanks to a call to action from the Pike County Sheriff Rodney Scott.
The Appalachian News Express reports the Sheriff reached out to Diversified Energy which donated the $7,500 and then he reached out to the South Williamson Walmart which helped to spend the money efficiently.
