Pikeville Man Probation Revoked After New Drug Arrest

A Pikeville man serving probation for a series of drug crimes has reportedly had his probation revoked following a new arrest for DUI and drug possession. The Appalachian News Express cites court documents showing a judge revoked the probated sentence for William G. Reid Jr. Reid was convicted of drug crimes last year and the judge opted for three years probation. Since then there have allegedly been some legal run-ins including possession and failure to report to his probation officer. But the news site reports on February 1, Reid was in a crash on North Bypass Road and after which he allegedly failed field sobriety tests and a search turned up meth and some pills.
