Pikeville Mayor Jimmy Carter has been appointed to the Kentucky League of Cities Executive Board.
KLC Executive Director and CEO J.D. Chaney calls Carter an “extraordinary advocate” for Pikeville and cities across Kentucky.
Carter has been Pikeville mayor since 2014 with the Kentucky League of Cities saying many of his initiatives for Pikeville have been “transformative” including economic development projects, infrastructure improvements, and other enhancements to the quality of life.
