A Pikeville man is facing allegations related to strangling a child. Officials say on Saturday police were called to a home on Ziegler Drive with a woman alleging Michael Harris had choked her 10-year-old son and fired a gun at her car while she was trying to drive away. Police say they found him in possession of meth and fentanyl. Kentucky State Police confirm Harris is charged with strangulation, assault and possession and was taken to the Pike County Detention Center.
