Pikeville Police are hosting a Child Passenger Safety Event.
They say Detective Colby Hobson and Captain Chad Branham, who are both certified child passenger safety restraint device technicians, will lead the event for parents to bring their current car seat to make sure it is installed correctly.
They say anybody who has a new car seat or a newborn coming along, is welcome to come by.
The event will also cover booster seats for older children.
And they won’t just install them – they will teach you how to do it properly.
The event is on June 23 at Pikeville Fire Department Station 3.
