Two health care executives who had worked in Wise County have reached a plea deal
in a health care fraud case.
The US Attorney’s Office says Myron Wyatt and Stephanie Davis each pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of conspiracy to defraud the United States.
The two had originally faced charges of health care fraud and conspiracy with investigators claiming that while working at a behavioral health services company they allegedly submitted more than 3,400 false claims to Medicaid.
They face up to a year in prison when they are sentenced in November.
