Still no word on whether the murder trial of three men accused in connection with the
death of a Prestonsburg woman more than two years ago will be delayed.
Meanwhile a pretrial conference has been postponed for M.K. McKinney, who is charged with murder, and his father Dr. Michael McKinney and acquaintance Josh Mullins, who are
charged with tampering with evidence in the death of Amber Spradlin.
Their trial is set to start December 1, but the Commonwealth’s Attorney had asked for a delay due to several items still needing to be analyzed for DNA.
So far there is no response from the defense or the judge about the motion for the delay and no word on why a court appearance scheduled for today has been moved by the judge into November.
