A reckless driving stop has led to a drug arrest for a Pikeville man. A KSP troope reportedly stopped Thomas Kiser after seeing his car slip off of the road on U.S. 23 last Friday. Mountain Top news reports he told the trooper he lost control because he was trying to count money while driving. The trooper did a field sobriety test which allegedly indicated he could be impaired so the trooper searched Kiser’s car and allegedly found $1,200 in cash and a bag of Neurontin. He is charged with DUI, trafficking and more.
