Oneil Cruz had a three-run homer, his third in two games, Paul Skenes allowed one run in five innings and the Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Cincinnati Reds 8-3 on Wednesday afternoon to take the three-game series.
The Reds are now an even 3-3 on the season.
The Reds are off today, Thursday, before they begin a 7 game road trip.
They will play 3 games this weekend at the Texas Rangers starting on Friday.
Game times this weekend will be 4:05pm Friday afternoon, 7:05pm Saturday and 2:35pm Sunday afternoon.
