Reds Fall to Pittsburgh Tuesday Night

Oneil Cruz homered twice and Ryan O’Hearn hit a three-run shot as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Cincinnati Reds 8-3 on Tuesday night.

Sal Stewart and Elly De La Cruz hit consecutive homers off Barco to trim the Pirates’ lead to 6-3 in the eighth.

Pittsburgh manager Don Kelly was ejected in the eighth for arguing with plate umpire Jordan Baker.

The Reds are now 3-2 on the young season. 

Game three and the rubber match for the Reds and Pirates at GABP will be Wednesday afternoon at 12:40pm.

The Reds are off Thursday before the first road series of the season as they play 3 games this weekend at the Texas Rangers starting on Friday.
