The Cincinnati Reds opened up a three game series on Memorial Day in New York against the Mets.
Nick Lodolo won for the first time in four starts since returning from a blister, JJ Bleday and Tyler Stephenson homered off an ineffective Nolan McLean, and the Cincinnati Reds extended the New York Mets’ losing streak to four with a 7-2 victory Monday.
The Reds are 28-25, 4 games back of the Brewers in the NL Central.
The Reds will continue with 2 more in New York against the Mets including tonight at 7:10pm and Wednesday night at 7:10pm.
