Reds Win First Game of Three in St. Louis

TJ Friedl had a two-run single and scored Cincinnati’s other run, all in the fifth inning, as the Reds beat the St. Louis Cardinals3-0 on Tuesday night in the first of a 3 game series in St. Louis. 

The Reds are now 71-75, 13 games behind the Brewers in the NL Central and 8.5 games back in the NL Wild Card race.  

The Reds and Cardinals game two will be this evening at 7:45 with pregame at 7:15pm on Real Country 95.1 WTCW.  

The series will wrap up with a 1:15 afternoon game on Thursday before the Reds head to Minnesota to play the Twins in a 3 game weekend series.
