Reds Win Sunday To Break Mets Nine-Game Winning Streak

Santiago Espinal hit a tie-breaking two-run double in the ninth inning to lift the Cincinnati Reds to a 3-1 victory and snap the New York Mets’ nine-game winning streak on Sunday.

The Reds lost two out of three to the Mets this weekend in New York.  

With 18 games left in the season, the Reds are now 69-75, 13.5 games behind the Brewers in the NL Central and 9.5 games back in the NL Wild Card race.  

The Reds will play a make up game tonight in Atlanta against the Braves in Atlanta with 6:40pm first pitch with pregame at 6:10pm on Real Country 95.1 WTCW.

They will then play a 3 game series against the Cardinals in St Louis starting on Tuesday.
