WASHINGTON (WXKQ) — Senator Mitch McConnell continues to recover after recently being hospitalized but will not be on the Senate floor this week and will not be voting.
A press release from his staffer indicates that, “Senator McConnell is still working closely with staff on Senate business and Kentucky matters as he continues his recovery.”
McConnell was admitted to the hospital on June 14, but no information has been released as to why.
McConnell will be retiring at the end of this year.
