Perry and Harlan County officials say crews are making progress in restoring water to communities that have been without it for nearly a week since last week’s weather froze water supplies and cracked water pipes. As of early this morning Harlan County had about 1,000 customers without water and Perry County around 1200. They are keeping a running schedule on their Facebook Pages as to which areas are being taken care of next as well as locations for where and when to pick up bottled water.
