Whitesburg’s Tanglewood Trail is featured in an article in the new issue of Blue Ridge Country Magazine. Blue Ridge Country showcases idyllic mountain life and travel with a readership of 175,000 across the US. The story could be a big boost for the five mile pedestrian and bike trail which travels mostly along an abandoned railway bed and parallel with the River. Letcher County Tourism says the trail presents opportunities for displaying public art and educating visitors about the history and ecology of the area as well as giving walkers and cyclists safe access to key destinations in the community.
