Team Kentucky Update Monday: Death Toll now at 22 in Kentucky

Another person has passed away in connection with the severe flooding followed by snow and cold weather, with the total now at 22.

The latest confirmed death was a man from Marshall County who died from hypothermia.

At Monday’s Team Kentucky briefing Governor Andy Beshear said Kentucky State Police troopers are still assisting homeowners impacted by the flooding by delivering supplies, portable heaters, generators and water and State Police are doing extra patrols in affected areas.

More than 2300 homes are still without water and more than 42,000 are under boil water advisories.
