Ten people have been arrested following the bust of an alleged drug ring based in Wise County and operating in three states.
The US Attorney’s Office says the ten, mostly from Pound, Norton and Wise, were arrested last week on federal charges related to trafficking meth and fentanyl.
Court documents show investigators allege between 2021 and earlier this year, members of the group were buying the meth and fentanyl from suppliers in North Carolina and Kentucky and selling the drugs in Southwest Virginia.
