The Letcher County Central Cougar boys are 2-0 after beating Buckhorn 66-55 in a 14th Region matchup last night at the Whitaker Athletic Center at the old Dilce Combs high school at Jeff.
The LCC cougar boys will next begin play in the WYMT Mountain Classic being played next week at Knott County Central m. The Cougar boys will take on the #10 ranked and tournament favorite Harlan County Monday at 6:00pm.
The Jenkins boys will next play Saturday in the Hoopalachia Hardwood Classic at Twin Valley VA.
The Cavaliers will play Cornerstone Christian VA on Saturday.
The Jenkins Lady Cavalier girls lost to Bland VA 67-39 last night in the Hoopalachia Hardwood Classic at Twin Valley VA.
The Lady Cavaliers will take on Mountain View, Welch WVA Saturday morning at 9:00am in the same tournament at Twin Valley.
The 0-1 Letcher County Central Lady Cougars will next play a week from today, on Thursday December 7th when they take on Harlan Independent in the home opener.
