Three people have now been charged in connection with a fire that damaged an altar on the God’s Promise Trail in Inez last month.
Brian Robinette and Alexandra Riddle of Wellington and Devin Morris of Inez are all reportedly charged with trespassing but Morris and Robinette are also charged with willfully setting fire to land owned by others and desecration of venerated objects.
Mountain Top News cites court records indicating Robinette and Riddle confessed and said they were all drunk.
The fire charge is a felony that could mean up to 5 years in prison.
