Tri-Cities of Harlan County Work to Improve Wastewaster Sytems

Three cities in Harlan are working together on plans to improve their wastewater systems.

This week leaders from Cumberland, Benham and Lynch met to talk about some of the progress Cumberland has made with their waterwater treatment.

Harlan County Judge Executive Dan Mosley tells WYMT in the last ten years the Fiscal Court
has spent more than $9 million to expand sanitary sewage lines and to keep the rivers
and waterways clean but the three cities still have to come up with a treatment plan.
