Two Hazard men in two different cases are going to prison for dealing meth.
The US Attorney’s Office says last week Clifton Plowman was sentenced to 15 years after being
arrested during a traffic stop in which police found more than 70 grams of meth, two sets of digital scales and more than $2,000 in cash.
The USAO also says last week Herbert Allem was sentenced to 10 years after a search warrant for his home turned up more than 1000 grams of meth and a large quantity of cash.
In both cases, the men must serve 85% of their sentences before they will be considered for release.
