The deaths of two people found Tuesday at a home in Harlan County are being
characterized as involving a domestic situation.
Kentucky State Police were called to the home at Closplint after the bodies were found although they did not say who found them.
Troopers and detectives say the initial investigation indicates it was a husband and wife and that the woman was fleeing the home when she was shot and a short time
later the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
No names have been released.
